Native to the Northwestern United States, Redwood is a soft, lightweight and stable species for furniture making. Aside from burls, redwood typically possesses a straight grain pattern and offers color from a pink brown to rusty red brown. It is usually easy to work with hand tools and finishes well to reveal a deep soft lustre.

Due to logging exploitation over the last few generations Redwood is no longer listed as a sustainable species. All of our redwood is sourced from salvaged and fallen trees.
